What to Expect During a Dysport Treatment

This treatment can usually be completed in under an hour, making it an easy and convenient option for our patients. You can sit back, relax, and let us do the work. We’ll go over preparation with you beforehand so you’re ready to go when it’s time to receive your Dysport treatment. 

We’ll clean the skin and apply a topical numbing cream. Some pressure is normal, but patients don’t normally experience pain during the procedure. We’ll inject the toxin into the face using a very fine needle. Several injections are usually made, and we’ll evaluate as we go to determine if more are needed. You can leave right after the treatment is complete.

Dysport Aftercare

Dysport requires little to no recovery time, meaning you can go back to normal life when you leave. Some patients experience soreness or headaches, but these should go away on their own relatively quickly. Results should be visible after a couple of days and should last around four months until another session is needed.
